Te Kāhui Tika Tangata | Human Rights Commission
The framework for the baseline survey on human rights was developed in alignment with the four articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. This paper may provide insight for those considering how to apply Te Tiriti to their work, in particular survey research. It may also assist those interested in how a baseline human rights survey framework could be developed in the Aotearoa New Zealand context.
This content is captured with three summary pages, which may serve as a quick guide. These summary pages represent how the Tiriti-based approach was developed to support the three levels of the project: 1) the overall project approach, 2) research design, and 3) questionnaire framework. The remaining content in this paper describes the approach in more detail in chronological order.
